Mal'akh Ha-Mavet

"Mal'akh Ha-Mavet" is inspired by the stunning concept art of Jun Kim which can be found here (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qQv0WN). The project showcases exceptional attention to detail and an impressive range of technical skills.

The breakdown of the project highlights the technical proficiency, showcasing the use of industry-standard software and tools.

I sought out to bring Jun Kim's vision to life in stunning detail. From the intricate details on the armor to the menacing glow of the eyes, every aspect of this character has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. ZBrush was used for modeling all aspects of the character, while Autodesk Maya and RizomUV were used for the UV layout.

Marmoset Toolbag was utilized for baking mesh maps, and Substance Painter was used for painting RGB masks. Substance Designer was used to create tileable materials used throughout the character.

Designed with gaming in mind, this character is utilizing Unreal's material layers and detail maps. The resolution and fidelity of this character enables players to zoom in to the model with no loss of detail without sacrificing performance.
